Grades: PreK-K
Let’s get ready for some yuke playing! The ukulele, or yuke, is a great beginner instrument for young musicians with an interest in the guitar. With its four strings set further apart, the ukulele’s design allows young students to quickly learn the instrument and make music. This fun-filled week focuses primarily on learning simple chords and strumming. At the end of the week, we will perform a special concert for fellow campers and Parish Summer staff. There is no need to purchase an instrument. Each camper will be provided a yuke to play for the week.
