Art - Deconstruction

Art - Deconstruction

Grades: 5-9

Students learn the value of reusing discarded materials to build and create machines, creatures, works of art or whatever else their imaginations desire. This is an exciting class where anything is possible, and artists will grow to appreciate their own creativity, resource conservation and community engagement. Prepare to take things apart, put things together and have a blast. This class is taught by local artist Danielle Kimzey who has a MFA in Painting from The University of Iowa and teaches painting at El Centro and design at TCU.
