Based on the iconic animated film, Disney’s Aladdin KIDS is sure to send audiences soaring on a flying carpet ride. When the street urchin, Aladdin, vies for the attention of the beautiful princess, Jasmine, he uses a genie's magic power to become a prince in order to marry her. Iago, Jafar and the Genie all make appearances in Disney’s Aladdin KIDS, a musical adventure filled with magic, mayhem and the power of love. Specific to Disney’s Aladdin KIDS are the Djinn, a group of unique stage magicians who execute the magical moments of the show. A large ensemble of Agrabahns round out the cast. This camp features a rigorous curriculum designed to introduce students to a wide range of theatrical skills. In addition to singing, dancing and acting, students will work collaboratively with others as they learn stage direction, blocking and other musical theatre terminology. Students will be responsible for providing their own costumes. A detailed costume list will be provided the second day of camp. Performances take place in Parish’s Black Box Theater on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28 at 6:00pm. Six tickets are included in the price of the camp and must be redeemed through the NTPA website (additional tickets may be purchased as well).
