Students will learn what it takes to put together a short film from start to finish and will work both behind the scenes and in front of the camera. Participants will have an opportunity to direct, learn to be a grip and gaffer, serve as a production assistant and more. In addition to the technical aspects, instruction will cover the nuances of acting for film and working with different camera angles such as close-ups, wide shots and over-the-shoulder. Past students have gone on to make their own short films or secure an agent while others have added the finished film to their demo reel.
